This Wednesday Mariachi El Bronx and The Bronx are playing at The Independent in San Francisco. The Bronx and Mariachi El Bronx are the same band except one is a mariachi version. Check out the videos below to see how amazing the difference is.

Exit Through The Gift Shop

Tonight I'm headed over to the premiere of Banksy's new film called Exit Through The Gift Shop, the premiere is going to be showing at the Victoria Theater in San Francisco. There is going to be an after party for the film at Som Bar which I believe is open to the public. The film opens this Friday and will be showing at Landmark's Embarcadero Center Cinema in SF. Jim Jones Revue @ SXSW

When I was down at SXSW I managed to catch Jim Jones Revue doing their Daytrotter session and it completely caught me off guard. Reminded me of Jerry Lee Lewis keys with the flair of Dennis from Refused. Unfortunately all of their shows are over in Europe right now. Enjoy their video for the song "Princess and the Frog".

The Local Natives @ SXSW

I caught The Local Natives once at the Levi's Fader Fort and then I caught their whole set over at the Rachael Ray showcase at Stubb's which was incredible. Both sets they closed with Sun Hands which is an incredible song. They will be playing at Bottom of the Hill in SF with Suckers on June 3rd.

These guys are some incredible friends of mine. Last minute I decided to not fly back from Austin and to head out on the road with them. I went to Memphis, New Orleans and Houston with them on their tour.

So I was gone for 12 days down to SXSW in Austin, Texas and then went on a journey with my friends in Mondo Drag. I'm going to post all of the bands that I can remember seeing at SXSW.
